Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, ideally within a resource setting
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet diverse learner needs
Position Duties:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to students in first and fourth grades
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with general education teachers and related service providers
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Engage with families to provide updates and foster a collaborative approach to student success
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment
Schedule:
- Hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:50 am to 3:35 pm during the academic year
