Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and current Special Education Teacher certification
- Approximately five years of experience in special education
- Proficiency with state data systems and data reporting
- Proven track record of meticulous record keeping
- Experience supporting diverse learning styles within K-8 populations
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptable approach and commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive classrooms
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student IEPs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure compliance and success
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for IEPs, evaluations, and progress reports
- Utilize state data systems for compliance reporting and analysis
- Engage with parents, administrators, and other stakeholders professionally
- Foster a positive, encouraging classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence
