Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) for the state of Colorado
- Experience working with children in primary grade levels, ideally within a special education program
- Strong knowledge in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring all accommodations and modifications are met
- Develop, review, and assess IEPs in partnership with families and support staff
- Utilize data to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive educational atmosphere
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to promote student inclusion and success
