Choose your ideal position:
- Full-time Learning Services at Northglenn Middle School (mild-moderate caseload), beginning 9/23 for a 7-week assignment.
- Flexible full-time or half-time opportunities at Rocky Top Middle School, focusing either on Learning Specialist (mild-moderate) or Significant Support Needs (SSN). Start ASAP and work until Winter Break, with potential to extend.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Colorado Department of Education Teacher License with Special Education Generalist endorsement (Ages 5–21)
- Experience supporting students with diverse learning profiles, including those with mild-moderate disabilities or significant cognitive and communicative challenges
- Ability to manage and organize caseloads for 1-2 schools, adapting instruction for varying needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within IEP teams and with families
- Completion of time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting and professional references (RefAssured uploading required prior to placement)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) for students aged 5–21
- Provide direct instruction and support aligned with each student’s learning goals
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to optimize learning strategies
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with all state and district guidelines
- Advocate for inclusive practices and differentiated instruction across educational settings
