This onsite position offers openings at the resource, high school, middle school, and K-8 levels. You’ll play a crucial role in helping students achieve their educational goals through personalized instruction and comprehensive support.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
- Must obtain and maintain an Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Previous experience with IEP development and implementation preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Case management services for students with IEPs, ensuring thorough compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
- Deliver direct instruction tailored to students’ IEP goals across various settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor a full continuum of instructional services
- Maintain detailed and accurate student records
- Provide consultation during the Response to Intervention (RtI) process
- Maintain consistent, positive communication with parents and guardians
- Support and implement behavior intervention plans and accommodations within the classroom
- Work closely with other staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are executed effectively
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Other duties as needed to support student success
