Your talents will serve two specialized classrooms: one focused on students with multiple disabilities, including non-verbal communication, autism, and physical impairments (9-12 students), and another centered on students with emotional disabilities, behavioral intervention plans, and social-emotional growth (10-15 students). This is an ideal setting for an experienced educator eager to implement creative approaches and foster holistic development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching licensure is required
- Prior experience with multiple and emotional disabilities, autism, physical impairments, and non-verbal students preferred
- Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Proficiency with behavioral intervention plans and crisis intervention strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering positive, inclusive classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
