Your classroom will be equipped with comprehensive curriculum resources tailored for students requiring significant support. Collaboration is encouraged, and you’ll be supported by two skilled paraprofessionals to create an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Special Education Certification required
- EC-6 Certification required
- Experience supporting students with significant academic and functional needs strongly preferred
- Commitment to differentiated instruction and adaptive learning methods
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and behavioral supports
- Monitor, track, and document student progress
- Foster a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, families, and other team members
- Utilize provided curriculum resources to maximize student growth
- Maintain open communication with families and support staff
