Desired Qualifications
- Active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in one of the following:
- Mild/Moderate Disabilities
- Extensive Support Needs (Moderate/Severe)
- Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
- Commitment to inclusive classrooms and practices
- Strong background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative approach to working with staff, service providers, and families
- Experience using evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies
- Organizational skills for maintaining documentation and monitoring progress
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop thorough, compliant IEPs tailored to students’ strengths and needs
- Deliver specialized academic instruction within your credential area
- Collaborate regularly with general educators, therapists, and family members
- Implement effective instructional strategies and positive behavioral supports
- Track and document student progress to inform instruction and reporting
