Special Education Teacher - Bloomfield, Connecticut

Key Qualifications:

Core Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 1st and 2nd grade students with varied learning needs
- Assess, plan, and deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom experiences
- Monitor student progress, maintaining detailed records and providing regular updates
- Engage in regular parent communications and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment
- Contribute to staff meetings and ongoing professional development
This position offers 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing the consistency and support needed for younger students to thrive.
