Working closely with job coaches and paraprofessionals, your focus will be less on traditional classroom teaching and more on goal monitoring, administrative support, and personalized mentorship.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee progress of 7-8 students, providing support tailored to individual transition goals
  • Coordinate with job coaches and paraprofessionals on daily routines and job site training
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust transition goals such as job applications and financial literacy
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings (approximately 7-10 annually)
  • Maintain detailed student records and update documentation as required
  • Encourage independence and advocate for student success in real-world environments

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan available through Principal Financial
  • Competitive hourly pay from $38 to $43, commensurate with experience
  • Consistent weekday schedule with early release some Wednesdays
