Taking on a contracted EC resource role at the elementary level, you’ll work with a manageable caseload of about 24 students in grades K-2. Qualifications:
- Valid NC EC (Exceptional Children) licensure required
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with K-2 populations in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with ECATS or willingness to learn
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve K-2 students through pull-out sessions for reading and push-in support for math
- Complete progress reports every 5 weeks
- Manage new special education referrals and maintain student documentation through the ECATS system
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
