- Elementary Inclusion/Resource Teacher: Collaborate with general education teachers to co-deliver instruction and provide resource room support. Adapt and modify lessons to ensure all students access the same curriculum with the accommodations they need.
- Elementary & High School Alternate Curriculum (Lifeskills) Teacher: Provide specialized instruction for students with cognitive impairments who require an adapted curriculum. Foster independence and life skills alongside academic development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for the state of Texas.
- Experience with inclusive classrooms, life skills, or behavior management preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Creative approach to instruction and a commitment to adapting content for diverse learning styles.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
