Qualifications and Experience:
- Current MA Special Education (SPED) teaching licensure for the appropriate grade level
- Experience or familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with fellow educators, therapy teams, and families
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for supporting and empowering students with special needs
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and deliver individualized instructional strategies tailored to support pre-K students, focusing on ABA principles
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere to promote emotional and academic growth
- Assess student progress, document performance, and adjust methods to ensure continued development
- Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and families to create cohesive care plans and maintain consistency
- Participate in IEP meetings and deliver regular updates on student outcomes
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans as needed
