Qualifications:
- Hold (or be eligible for) a valid South Carolina Special Education Teacher Certification, multi-categorical (PK–Grade 12)
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing IEPs, with a thorough understanding of process and measurable goals
- Committed to working onsite, following the full school day and school year calendar
- Experience supporting students with behavioral intervention strategies preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s needs and behavioral goals
- Deliver direct instruction to students in elementary grades in a small-group, behavior intervention classroom environment
- Foster a supportive, structured classroom climate to promote student engagement and growth
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to ensure cohesive support for students
- Collect and analyze data to drive instructional decisions and document progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with team members and parents
