Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
- Valid South Carolina teaching license
- LD or multi-categorical certification
- Recent experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Flexibility and dedication to student success
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction for students on your caseload
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IEPs
- Monitor and document student growth
- Participate in staff meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
