What we’re seeking:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS 1 endorsement
- Experience supporting or teaching students in special education settings, preferably K-12
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Comfortable adapting and differentiating instruction for wide-ranging abilities
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive learning community
What you’ll contribute:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based instruction across a range of disabilities and grade levels
- Track progress, collect data, and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
- Collaborate regularly with co-teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service personnel
- Communicate effectively with families to build supportive relationships
- Maintain positive, structured learning environments for all students
Highlights of the assignment:
- Contracted role with 32.5–35 scheduled hours each week, varying by program
- Serve across multiple K-12 programs within the district, enriching your experience and skillset
