Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Illinois Special Education Teacher license with LBS1 endorsement

- Experience working in a school setting, particularly with elementary-age students, preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to elementary school students with special needs
- Develop and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Employ evidence-based teaching strategies and classroom management techniques
- Foster an inclusive classroom community that celebrates student strengths and addresses unique challenges
- Collect data and maintain accurate documentation regarding student progress and participation
- Communicate proactively with parents, administrators, and support staff regarding student development
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives as needed
