What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement (K-22)
- Candidates pursuing licensure or holding out-of-state credentials will be considered
- Experience working with students with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for fostering academic, emotional, and social growth in students
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement specialized instruction tailored to individual student goals
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture
- Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation
