Position Overview
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Intervention Specialist to join a welcoming school district near Cincinnati, OH for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive educational environment. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff to help students achieve academic and behavioral success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students' IEP goals
- Provide specialized instruction to students with a variety of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators to support student achievement
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral interventions
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and educational goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Active Ohio Intervention Specialist License required
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance with state and federal special education regulations
