You’ll join a dedicated cohort of travel educators filling 4 full-time openings, each working 37.5 hours over 5 days per week, with contracts running through May 21, 2027. Each role serves one site with an approximate caseload of 15 students—either elementary or junior high—supporting students with emotional/behavioral disabilities or those with autism/communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Special Education licensure through CDE (Colorado Department of Education)
- Experience with elementary or junior high caseloads preferred
- Ability to manage case loads of approximately 15 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor student cases
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Deliver tailored instruction to a diverse population
- Provide robust behavior support while fostering a positive learning environment
