Bring your passion and expertise to a rewarding position supporting elementary students as a Special Education Case Manager for 2nd and 3rd grades. This contract role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact during the upcoming school year, spanning August 25 to June 14, with work hours from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Provide direct instruction aligned with each student's IEP goals.
- Utilize evaluation and progress data to inform instruction and the development of effective IEPs.
- Maintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance with special education policies and NHSEIS requirements.
- Routinely monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Support, supervise, and collaborate with instructional staff to ensure accommodations and modified instruction are properly implemented.
- Communicate and partner with families, classroom teachers, therapists, counselors, and relevant community agencies to support holistic student development.
- Implement procedural safeguards to protect students' rights while adhering to district policies and state regulations.
- Carry out all designated building-level responsibilities as assigned by school administration.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid special education teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain in New Hampshire).
- Demonstrated experience serving as a case manager in an elementary setting, preferably with 2nd or 3rd grade students.
- Skill in designing differentiated instruction and accommodations to meet diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with special education regulations, IEP processes, and NHSEIS documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
