Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher Certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Proven experience in a Special Education or EC teaching role preferred
- Strong familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for student advocacy and inclusive education practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with exceptional needs
- Provide differentiated instruction and support based on individual learning goals
- Employ evidence-based strategies and interventions to promote academic and behavioral growth
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
- Work closely with general education teachers, aides, specialists, and families to ensure student success
- Foster a supportive and respectful classroom culture that celebrates diversity
