Qualifications:
- Active Kansas Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
- Demonstrated experience with early childhood and/or elementary-age students in intensive or specialized settings

- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
- Adaptability and a student-centered approach to education
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students on intensive skills and autism support caseloads
- Develop and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with families and school staff
- Use evidence-based strategies to promote academic, social, and behavioral growth
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and compliance with state requirements
- Engage actively in school team meetings, professional development, and interdisciplinary collaborations
- Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment tailored to each student’s needs
