Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on each student's IEP
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create effective learning plans
- Foster a supportive and encouraging classroom atmosphere
- Communicate regularly with families to update them on student progress and involve them in the educational process
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities
- Ensure all classroom practices adhere to school and district policies
