What We're Looking For:
- Active South Carolina Special Education Certification with all required endorsements
- Strong instructional skills within early childhood special education (3K and 4K experience highly preferred)
- Ability to implement IEP goals and create inclusive classroom experiences
- Classroom management skills tailored to young children with diverse learning needs
- Adaptability, patience, and a passion for working with early learners
- Excellent collaboration abilities with other educators, support staff, and families
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for preschool special education students
- Develop and carry out individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Progress monitor and document student growth and learning
- Communicate regularly with families, support staff, and administration
- Foster an encouraging, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom setting
- Cooperate with colleagues to provide whole-child support
