Qualifications & Experience:
- Current credential in Special Education (Ohio licensure required)
- Prior experience teaching students with varying exceptionalities preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to inspire trust, patience, and motivation among at-risk youth
- Adaptability to deliver differentiated instruction in a flexible, individualized learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct instruction tailored to students’ learning goals and unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
