Current needs include a Kinderpath teacher for the PreK-K program, a resource room teacher supporting upper elementary students, and co-teaching positions in high school classrooms. These positions present the chance to work collaboratively, design individualized strategies, and impact students with diverse learning needs.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Special Education (state-specific credentials required)
- Experience working with students in PreK through high school settings
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress assessment
- Strong classroom management and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt instruction and environments for a diverse range of learners
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students’ individual strengths and challenges
- Develop and monitor IEPs, working closely with teams of educators, service providers, and families
- Maintain a safe learning environment, promoting respect and positive behavior
- Utilize data-driven methods to assess progress and refine teaching strategies
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to maximize student success
