Special Education Teacher in Derry, NH

You’ll be the dedicated case manager and lead teacher for a small caseload—just three students this year—making a major difference in their academic and personal development. As a key collaborator, you’ll work Monday through Friday, full time (35–37.5 hours per week), playing an integral role in the school community and building supportive relationships with students, families, and staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher license (NH or eligible for NH certification)
- Previous experience with life skills or intensive needs programs preferred
- Strong background in managing IEP processes and case management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for personalized instruction
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to individual student needs
- Serve as program case manager—develop, monitor, and implement IEPs
- Foster academic, social, and life skills growth for students
