Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification for Michigan
- Experience with K-2 students or in similar early childhood settings strongly preferred
- Proven background working with Emotional Impairment (EI) programs is ideal
- Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
- Collaborative approach to working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to a self-contained classroom of K-2 students with emotional impairments
- Implement and adapt curriculum resources to meet diverse student needs
