Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized academic instruction and targeted interventions to students in a resource classroom
- Implement and manage IEP accommodations and modifications, ensuring compliance and responsiveness to each student's needs
- Closely monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and report findings as required
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and support staff to maximize student success
- Support both the academic and behavioral development of students, helping to build positive self-esteem and classroom engagement
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold an active Michigan Special Education certification (ASD, EI, CI, or LD)
- Previous experience in a resource classroom environment is preferred
- Strong skills in developing IEPs and managing special education caseloads
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team collaboration abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
Assignment Details:
- Full-time contract, Monday through Friday
- 37.5 hours per week, 7.5-hour days
- Assignment extends through June 4, 2027
