Key Qualifications:
- Current New Hampshire Teaching License required
- Experience in special education, particularly with mental health and behavioral programs, is highly desirable
- Strong skills in case management, IEP development, evaluations, and compliance reporting
- Exceptional communication abilities for effective parent and team collaboration
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing, individualized educational setting
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and classroom management for 10-16 students, addressing both educational and behavioral needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Conduct student evaluations and manage comprehensive case documentation
- Prepare required reports and effectively communicate progress with staff and families
- Facilitate and participate in regular meetings with multidisciplinary teams, including families and specialists
- Maintain a supportive learning environment that prioritizes student safety and emotional well-being
Position Details:
- Academic year: September 1, 2026 – June 16, 2027
- Work schedule: 32.5–35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with school hours from 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM
