With a 35-hour workweek and a clearly defined academic calendar from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, you’ll have a predictable schedule with dedicated planning and collaboration time.
Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate required by the start date (emergency permits may be sponsored through HR if needed)
- Demonstrated experience in special education environments
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to foster a supportive and structured classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet student-specific learning goals
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Track student progress and maintain detailed, accurate records
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
