Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid licensure or eligibility to teach Special Education.
- Experience working with elementary-age students in a school setting preferred.
- Ability to provide effective instruction, modify curriculum, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with families, support staff, and general education teachers.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, growth-oriented classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction to elementary students with mild/moderate disabilities in both individual and small group settings.
- Develop and implement IEPs based on students’ unique needs.
- Monitor, document, and communicate student progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success.
- Actively participate in professional development and school meetings.
- Cultivate a positive, supportive atmosphere where every student feels valued.
What You’ll Love About This Role:
- Consistent weekly hours with a schedule of Mon/Thu/Fri 7:40 - 2:50 and Wed 8:40 - 2:50.
