You’ll serve as a traveling educator, collaborating with staff and delivering top-notch special education support where it’s needed most.
Position Information:
- Full-time, September 2026 through June 2027
- Monday through Friday, 35–37.5 hours weekly
- Serve as a liaison and resource for diverse student populations across all schools in the area
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification or eligibility for certification
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in K-12 settings preferred
- Adaptable teaching approach to support students with a wide range of learning needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Flexibility to travel and provide services at multiple locations
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions aligned with IEP goals
- Track student progress and maintain detailed records
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers and school staff
- Provide resources and training as needed to support student success
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development
