Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Special Education Teacher credentials for Colorado
- Strong knowledge and experience with IEP development and implementation
- Ability to manage K-12 caseloads effectively
- Familiarity with both self-contained and resource classroom models preferred
- Demonstrated work ethic, professional growth mindset, and positive, collaborative attitude
- Excellent communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction and support to students with diverse needs
- Develop, update, and manage IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure inclusive practices
- Monitor student progress and make data-driven adjustments to instruction
- Foster an encouraging, safe, and respectful classroom environment
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
