Special Education Teacher | Euclid, Ohio
Step into a vital role supporting K-8 students as a contract Special Education teacher in the Cleveland, OH area (NEAR 44114), serving schools in Midtown, Woodland Hills, and Glenville. This rewarding, full-time position offers a flexible hybrid schedule: work from home on Mondays and Fridays, with in-person collaboration in school buildings Tuesdays through Thursdays. You’ll have the chance to build meaningful relationships across a single school per location, focusing on impactful case management and comprehensive support for students with diverse learning needs.
Your expertise will guide the delivery of high-quality services to up to 100 IEPs per year. This is a non-instructional, administrative position—free from lead teaching duties—emphasizing IEP writing, facilitating IEP meetings, and full administrative responsibilities to ensure each student receives the personalized support they deserve. Experience with Same Goal, the IEP platform, is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license in Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intense (required)
- Proficiency with Same Goal IEP platform
- Strong knowledge of case management practices and IEP development
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and collaborate with staff and families
- Experience supporting K-8 students with diverse learning needs
- U.S. work authorization (no emergency or sponsorship options available)
