Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Teaching License (required)
- Experience with behavioral or mental health self-contained classrooms preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, classroom management, and data-driven instruction
- Strong commitment to teamwork, communication, and building connections with students and families
- Exceptional organizational skills for case management, documentation, and scheduling
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students in a mental health/behavioral self-contained setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Oversee a caseload of 10-16 students, conducting evaluations and preparing related reports
- Manage all aspects of case management including meetings, documentation, and ongoing communication
- Foster a classroom atmosphere that supports emotional, social, and academic growth
