Special Education Teacher - Fairfax, CA

Qualifications:
- Valid California Special Education teaching credential (Mild/Mod or Mod/Severe)
- Demonstrated experience with SEIS (Special Education Information System)

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students’ academic and social-emotional goals
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to create inclusive learning experiences
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in SEIS, ensuring compliance and timely reporting
- Engage students using innovative instructional strategies tailored to their unique needs and learning styles
- Provide ongoing assessment, progress monitoring, and modifications as necessary
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment that supports student safety and success
Position Details:
- Contract duration: ASAP start through May 2026
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Serve students across K-12 grade levels and needs
