ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to support students in an Adaptive Life Skills classroom in Farmington, Maine. This opportunity is available at both the elementary and middle school levels for the full 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications
Maine DOE State Teaching License required
282 Conditional Certification will be considered
Maine DOE CHRC Background Check required
Special Education experience preferred
Experience working in an Adaptive Life Skills or functional skills classroom preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction in an Adaptive Life Skills classroom
Support students with academic, functional, communication, social, and independent-living skills
Develop and implement instruction aligned with student IEP goals
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with families, related-service providers, administrators, and school staff
Create a structured and supportive learning environment
