Special Education Teacher in Fitchburg, MA
Step into an impactful role as a Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher, supporting young learners in a vibrant elementary setting. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
- Experience working with elementary-age students
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring

- Commitment to meeting diverse learner needs
- Previous school or classroom experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP
- Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing educational planning
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Provide behavioral and academic support as necessary
