Immediate contract opportunities are available for two dedicated special education teachers who are ready to make a difference for students through the end of the 2026-2027 school year (ASAP – 5/21/2027).
Openings include:
- Middle School Life Skills (requires SPED certification along with core content certification)
- Elementary Resource/Inclusion (requires SPED and core/generalist certification)
This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, working with a talented and collaborative team committed to student-centered instruction and support.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (as required by assignment: SPED cert plus core content or generalist certification)
- Experience supporting students in either MS Life Skills or Elementary Resource/Inclusion settings
- Strong ability to adapt teaching strategies and collaborate with colleagues
- Passion for fostering growth and success among students with diverse needs
- Experience with IEP planning, progress monitoring, and parent communication is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to student needs
- Facilitate supportive, structured learning environments
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
- Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders
- Participate in professional development and school community activities
