Special Education Teacher - Elementary Life Skills
Soliant is seeking a qualified Elementary Life Skills Special Education Teacher to support an elementary school in Wyoming for the current school year.

Assignment Details
Position: Elementary Life Skills Teacher – Special Education
Location: Wyoming
Schedule: Full-Time
Duration: ASAP – End of School Year (EOSY)
Setting: Elementary Life Skills Classroom
Student Population: Elementary students receiving specialized academic and functional support
Work Setting: Onsite
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction in an elementary Life Skills classroom.
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students' academic, functional, developmental, and behavioral needs.
- Support students in meeting their IEP goals and making meaningful progress.
- Provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation related to IEP goals and services.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, administrators, related service providers, and families.
- Maintain a structured, supportive, and positive classroom environment.
- Provide functional and life skills instruction as appropriate to individual student needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Wyoming Special Education Licensure required.
- Previous experience working in a special education or Life Skills classroom preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to provide individualized academic and functional instruction.
- Ability to work full-time through the end of the school year.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an elementary Life Skills or self-contained special education classroom.
- Experience supporting students with significant academic, functional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
- Experience implementing and monitoring IEP goals.
- Familiarity with accommodations, modifications, differentiated instruction, and functional skill development.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
