Key Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teaching Certification in Texas, plus one of the following endorsements: Self Contained, Core Subjects, or Generalist (aligned with the assignment’s grade levels)
- Previous experience teaching in special education settings, preferably with exposure to life skills or functional academics classrooms
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom atmosphere for diverse learners
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
- Ability to develop and implement effective instructional and behavioral support strategies
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction tailored to the unique learning needs of students in the FASE classroom
