Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current New Hampshire Special Education License (1900 Teaching Endorsement) highly preferred
- Candidates eligible for a letter of eligibility from the Board may also be considered
- Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs, especially Autism and ADHD, is advantageous
- Strong organizational and case management abilities, including IEP development and implementation
- A collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner with paraprofessionals and multidisciplinary staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20-30 8th grade students, coordinating support plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with other case managers to ensure equitable distribution of services for all students
- Foster a positive, supportive, and adaptive classroom environment
- Oversee and collaborate with paraprofessionals who provide additional student support
- Maintain accurate documentation, communication with families, and compliance with special education policies
