Key Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Special Education License (excluding “Teachers for Tomorrow” certification)
- Experience supporting students with diverse disabilities (mild, autism, multiple/severe, preschool, emotional disturbances)
- Genuine commitment to creating inclusive, engaging learning environments
- Strong collaboration skills and adaptability in working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Availability for a full-time, onsite schedule (37.5 hours per week) throughout the full contract term
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure student goals are met
- Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to students’ needs
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
- Communicate progress with families and collaborate closely with educational support staff
