Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education License (required)
- Experience working with students in K-12 settings preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
- Familiarity with a range of mild to moderate and/or intensive needs classroom structures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction and interventions for students with varying abilities and needs
- Develop, implement, and document Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create supportive, engaging classroom environments
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
