Special Education Teacher in Grovetown, GA
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by supporting the diverse needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, on-site contract role involves working 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday, supporting both elementary and middle school students. What We’re Looking For:
- Current Georgia SPED licensure or certification (verification required at submission)
- Previous experience in school-based special education settings preferred
- Expertise in classroom management and behavior support strategies
- Confidence collaborating with general education staff and families
- Availability for full-time, on-site work for the duration of the 2026/2027 school year
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized instruction plans in alignment with student IEPs
- Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment
- Provide direct instruction, behavioral interventions, and ongoing assessment for student growth
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
