Special Education Teacher
Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students with special needs for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role is based onsite near Half Moon Bay, CA, with multiple openings available for professionals specializing in mild/moderate and moderate/severe disabilities. Your expertise will help create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for every student.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers to foster inclusive and supportive classrooms
• Continuously monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to optimize growth and success
• Directly instruct and support students across a wide spectrum of needs and learning abilities
• Engage and communicate regularly with students, families, and fellow staff to ensure everyone is informed and supported
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain organized documentation to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth educational transitions
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field required (Master’s degree highly regarded)
• Valid California teaching credential with authorization in Special Education
• Demonstrated experience working with students with moderate/severe or mild/moderate disabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential for collaboration and relationship-building

Compensation for this position ranges from $40 to $45. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
