Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current New Hampshire Teaching License is required
- Background in teaching or supporting students with behavioral and/or mental health needs within a self-contained classroom environment
- Experience managing a caseload, conducting evaluations, and writing comprehensive reports
- Strong understanding of IEPs, case management, and collaborative meetings with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Guide a class of 10–16 students, providing individualized academic and behavioral support as part of a self-contained program
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Manage case files, evaluations, reports, and schedules, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Partner closely with school staff, administration, and families to foster students’ social, emotional, and academic growth
- Participate actively in school meetings and team planning sessions to support overall program success
This contract role is scheduled for 32.5–35 hours per week, during standard school hours: 7:30 AM – 2:20 PM, between September 1, 2026, and June 16, 2027.
