As a travel Special Education Teacher, you'll broaden your professional skillset by working in diverse classroom settings, learning varied instructional approaches, and collaborating with a dedicated, multidisciplinary team. Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience with mild to moderate self-contained and inclusion settings preferred
- Background in English is a plus, but not required
- Strong classroom management, collaboration, and IEP implementation skills
- Comfortable providing individualized instruction to students from diverse backgrounds
Role Highlights:
- Serve as an EC Middle School Teacher for students with intensive needs
- Support two high school self-contained classrooms
- Work as an Inclusion High School Teacher, managing a caseload of 35–40 students
- Support a group of 23 students (morning/afternoon), plus 5 students at a STEM school
- Foster student success through tailored instruction and staff collaboration
- Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15am to 3:15pm, August 13, 2026 – June 3, 2027
